The FAEL Environment mod will give you a better visual to Euro Truck Simulator 2 with new textures for trees, road, ground, grass, water,… and will not change the weather in game.
FAEL Enviroment works fine with some weather mod such as Improved Weather Mod or Realistic Lighting Mod.
If your computer is strong enough, please set Vegetation Detail and Highgrass density in Settings to High for the best quality.
This “FAEL ENVIRONMENT MOD”, is an other long list of Environment mods that are out there. I have tested a lot since playing this game.
But for some reason I like this one. I found that all the texture’s road, grass sky look so real, you would forget that you are playing a game.
I also found that this mod dose not eat up my frame rate like a lot of the other’s have.
When I was driving in the country you could see some nice green fields and my frame rate stayed nice and high, when I drove into a city, my frame rate dropped a bit. That I really liked, not like some of the other’s were you have almost no frame rate at all.
I will keep testing this mod a little longer, I will keep you all up to date on how it goes.

This France and Spain map is an addon to your existing map. It will add 7 city’s to Spain and 2 new city’s to France.
I had expected more, although I am not exactly sure yet, what I wanted, I still expected more.
I think this is a nicely done map, it is really nice to drive, the scenery is about what I had expected in the game, There is a lot of room for improvement on this map.
I think over time and some more work, the developer’s of this map, will have a really nice product to put out to the gaming world to enjoy.

So instead of pulling a 40 or 53 foot trailer you are driving one large vehicle full of people instead of cargo. I also found this to be fun but also with it’s own challenges.
It was fairly easy to drive the bus, I just had to swing a little wider then I did with the truck. I found that my blind spot on the right was a challenge to be able to see out the window when turning right, but also when I was changing lanes on the highway.
When I drove this map, although it is not very big, I only found one dealership that was selling buses. That was the Scania dealer, I found a Volvo dealer but there were not buses for sale there. I think this would be something that should be added in a update.
I also found some of the delivery points were not picking up the bus when I parked, So I had to hit ENTER to finish my trip, I think this needs to be looked at.
With that said, I think this is a real nice change from driving a truck, I think I am going to keep this map around for a while. I will post more updates in the future on this map and I will le you all know how it goes.
